Who it is for
Hiver Omni suits support teams receiving requests through more than one channel and needing a shared view of who is handling each conversation. Hiver also presents it to operations, finance, IT and HR teams with cross-team requests.
The standalone platform works with Gmail, Outlook and other email providers. A team whose support work stays mainly inside Gmail should compare the separate Hiver in Gmail product and its own plan table before choosing.

Core capabilities
Shared inboxes. Team addresses and connected conversations enter a common workspace where agents can see incoming requests and coordinate responses.
Live chat. Hiver lets teams manage live-chat customer queries, and the current Omni Growth description includes chat alongside email and self-service. Confirm setup and staffing before making chat a customer-facing promise.
Knowledge base. Hiver provides internal and external knowledge-base options through Help Centers. Plan the articles, access rules and upkeep before relying on self-service to answer customer questions.

Pricing and getting started
The current Omni pricing page shows Growth at $25 per user/month on Annual and $35 on Monthly, Pro at $55/$65, and Elite at $85/$95. The captured display uses a dollar symbol without naming the currency. Confirm the selected billing term, currency, taxes and final checkout amount.
The official FAQ offers a seven-day Elite-access trial without a card at signup. A card is needed to upgrade; an account that does not continue is suspended after trial. Hiver says plans begin at two seats and expand in set increments.
Look a little closer
Before you choose
Tickets. In the documented portal workflow, a customer submission becomes a ticket in a shared inbox where staff can assign ownership and respond. The Customer Portal appears in Pro; check the ticket intake paths your team plans to use.
Request ownership. Unassigned and assigned views help a team see who has a conversation. Agents can assign or reassign work, and Open, Pending and Closed statuses record progress. Agree on when to use Pending and who closes a request.
Customer portal. The Pro tier lists a portal where customers submit and track requests. The setup guide says each portal request becomes a ticket in a connected shared inbox; portal creation requires a Web Form and admin access. Check whether your plan and forms fit this intake path.
Self-service content. Hiver documents internal and external Help Centers with articles, and a contact form can send a question into a chosen shared inbox. Check access type, content upkeep and plan availability before relying on this route.
Rules and reporting. Growth lists rule-based automation and prebuilt analytics; plan and configuration determine what the team can automate and measure. Test the exact routing and reports you need.
Channel and plan scope. Hiver says additional channels and advanced routing unlock on higher tiers. Treat the channel list as product range, and confirm the channels included in the selected plan.
Product-line choice. Hiver Omni runs as a standalone support platform; Hiver in Gmail operates within Gmail. Their plans and setup differ, so compare the correct product before budgeting or migration.
