YetiForce

What it does

YetiForce is open-source CRM software for managing customer relationships inside a broader business platform. A team can organize leads, contacts and accounts, follow sales work, and handle service issues in the same system. YetiForce also has marketing, project, finance and other modules; evaluate those separately from the central CRM workflow.

Who it is for

The vendor mainly addresses small and medium businesses, while reporting use by larger organizations. It makes sense for a team willing to configure a broad CRM around its own sales and service process, rather than expecting a narrow contact list to work unchanged out of the box.

A sales team can keep lead, contact and account records together, watch sales results and decide which repeated steps to automate. A service team can use the customer-service area for notifications and complaints, but should confirm the exact modules and add-ons needed for its chosen workflow.

The work it supports

Core capabilities

Start by defining the meaning of a lead, contact and account in the business, then map the stages used by the sales team. YetiForce lists these record types and sales-result monitoring, giving staff a common place to follow customer work.

The vendor lists sales-process automation and campaign management. Use a small pilot to decide which changes are genuinely repeatable and who approves an automated step. Check module availability before sending any marketing message.

Customer-service capabilities include notification and complaint handling plus email automation. Before using them with real customers, test the routing and reply workflow with harmless examples and identify who owns each unresolved case.

In the 7.x administration guide, users inherit module, tool and action permissions through roles and profiles. Record ownership and sharing can be configured separately, so an administrator should test what a sales representative, manager and service user can each see.

Role rules can extend access to records related to a customer, such as documents or comments. This can be helpful for a unified account view, but check it with a restricted test role so related information does not become visible more widely than intended.

Automatic record assignment can distribute leads or sales opportunities. Define assignment rules and an exception owner before switching it on, then inspect sample records to ensure no lead is left unowned or sent to the wrong team.

Pricing and getting started

The official FAQ says the core software can be downloaded, installed and used for free without a software user or record limit. A self-hosted deployment still requires a suitable server, installation, updates and administration; follow the current stable-download and requirements guides for the version you select.

YetiForce says Marketplace products and services are optional for the core system. Confirm whether a desired integration, support service or specialized module belongs to that paid layer before budgeting the project.

The Public License requires every system to be registered, and the registration guide asks for real organization information. Include that step in deployment planning, especially if the installation is isolated or company information must pass internal review.

YetiForce also markets a separate hosted Cloud service with Small, Medium and Large packages. It is for teams that prefer vendor infrastructure; cloud capacity and charges differ from the free self-installed software, so obtain current package terms for the expected users and data.

The Cloud page says support is available in English and Polish. Buyers that require another support language, a test environment or a particular response commitment should confirm those terms in the Cloud quote rather than infer them from the core software download.

Look a little closer

Before you choose

Pilot one lead through assignment, account follow-up and a service issue. Check the roles of each participant, the related customer information they can view and any automated step before migrating real records.

The system spans many business areas. Choose the CRM modules required for the first release and verify paid add-ons, data flows and permissions for anything beyond them. Claims about sales improvements on the marketing site are not a reason to assume a particular outcome.

Before choosing self-hosting or Cloud, compare operational ownership: who maintains the server, installs updates, performs backups, completes registration and provides support. The free software and hosted service answer different deployment needs.
