Urable

What it does

Urable organizes work for automotive service businesses such as detailing, tint and paint-protection-film shops. It connects customer and vehicle information with quoting, scheduling, inspection records and invoicing, with online booking and payments depending on configuration and plan.

Who it is for

A shop that handles many vehicles can use Urable to keep appointments, approvals and job history together. A mobile detailer can also consider its route planning and customer messages; the exact feature mix should match whether jobs occur in a bay, at a customer site or both.

It is especially relevant when a customer chooses a service, books a time, sees any existing-condition inspection and receives an invoice from the same job. Businesses that only need a simple calendar should check whether these extra records and plan tiers justify the cost.

The work it supports

Core capabilities

Start with a branded quote or interactive proposal. The customer can approve the scope and, if that path is configured, move into scheduling. Keep the agreed services and any add-ons clear before treating the appointment as confirmed work.

The customer record and vehicle details sit with appointment and job history. This matters for repeat services, special vehicle requirements and reviewing what the customer previously approved or paid.

The calendar supports bookings, reschedules and reassignment. The Virtual Shop can expose selected services and add-ons for self-booking, with configuration for shop or field work, capacity and resource availability. Test its limits with representative jobs before making the booking page public.

For mobile work, route mapping and assigned field personnel help organize a day of customer visits. Automated reminders and on-my-way messages can inform customers; review message settings and consent before making them part of the live workflow.

A job can include photo or video inspection records tied to the vehicle and date. An operator can document visible condition before work and retrieve it later; confirm Enterprise or other applicable entitlement before promising video capture.

After service, create the job invoice or combine multiple jobs for a commercial account into one invoice. That grouped option may simplify monthly billing, but the shop still needs to reconcile which jobs and payments it includes.

Urable’s price comparison lists text and email invoicing plus invoice PDFs. Review the document and delivery method before sending; a sent invoice is separate from confirming a payment reached the business.

An online booking flow can present a deposit option, and the quoting page describes a credit-card deposit followed by a check for the balance. Test the intended payment configuration and reconciliation before relying on it for live jobs.

Pricing and getting started

The current official comparison has Express, Pro and Enterprise with regional and monthly/annual selectors. Express covers core job assignment, reminders, invoicing and inventory tracking; Pro adds online booking and other workflow tools; Enterprise adds features such as video inspections and configurable workflows.

The retained pricing page mixes regional and monthly/yearly selector text, while another current vendor help page displays different Pro and Enterprise monthly figures. Check the selected country, billing term and final checkout or written quote for an exact price rather than relying on a single extracted number.

Payment choices need a separate check: the US comparison lists Stripe and Square integration and the vendor promotes UrPay. Confirm the processor that works in your region, its setup, transaction cost and plan entitlement before offering deposits or card collection.

Each tier has a “Get Started For Free” route, but the captured page does not establish a trial duration or card requirement. Confirm those terms before entering a payment method or migrating live data.

Look a little closer

Before you choose

Walk through one fictional vehicle: quote a service, ask for approval, book a bay or mobile visit, document an existing-condition inspection, then invoice. Check whether schedule thresholds prevent overlapping work and whether the customer sees the intended scope.

Test the payment path separately: review the invoice delivery, processor configuration and fee, then reconcile a mixed deposit/final-payment example in the ledger. Do not treat an invoice send as proof of settled funds.

For a team or multiple sites, ask how subscriptions and access are structured, then verify tier-specific booking, inspections, integrations and workflows. The official price conflict makes a checkout or sales confirmation particularly useful before budgeting.
