Trengo

What it does

Trengo brings customer messages from WhatsApp, email, live chat, social channels and voice into one shared inbox. The team can see customer details next to a conversation, involve colleagues and use rules to organize common routing work.

Who it is for

For a small support team moving beyond separate messaging accounts, the shared inbox gives one place to work across channels. Map each connected address or account and test who may see, claim and answer a conversation before relying on it.

For teams that answer website visitors and Facebook contacts, Trengo can put live chat and connected page comments into the inbox. A Help Centre can hold reusable articles, while an AI Agent has a separate knowledge-base source setup.

The work it supports

Core capabilities

Shared inbox. Trengo places several customer-contact channels beside each conversation and its customer details. Confirm exact channel access and team permissions for the selected plan.

Website live chat. Trengo lets a team add a live chat channel and attach it to its website widget. Configure availability and test a real visitor message before launch.

Facebook comments. After connecting a Facebook page, Trengo can respond to post comments from the inbox. This is a specific support-channel workflow, not a claim that it publishes social posts.

Pricing and getting started

In the current EUR annual-billing view, Boost starts at €299/month with ten included users and 6,000 conversations/year; Pro is shown at €499/month with twenty users and 18,000 conversations/year. The same page also shows higher month-to-month prices. Confirm the chosen currency, taxes, annual commitment, add-ons and current checkout before budgeting.

Trengo defines a billable conversation by replies within a seven-day window. Additional conversations, users and certain AI-assisted interactions have separate charges, so estimate expected usage as well as base-plan seats.

Look a little closer

Before you choose

Channel setup. Test WhatsApp, email, live chat, social and voice separately; a shared view does not prove every connection or selected-plan entitlement is already configured.

Rules can start when messages arrive or are sent and when conversations are assigned or closed. Their order is configurable; validate a specific routing case before trusting automation.

The Help Centre and AI Agent knowledge base are related but distinct content paths. Confirm who maintains public articles, and which snippets, websites or documents the AI Agent may use.

Facebook comments appear within a connected-page conversation. Verify page permissions and whether your team intends public replies, private messages or both.

This profile is based on current official public pages. No account, channel delivery, rule execution, AI response, plan checkout or invoice was tested.
