Find your fit
Who it is for
Service teams that bill from recorded hours can use the time report and invoice path. Project leads can compare estimated time and cost with the hours being logged, though Trackabi’s project feature is an estimate and cost workflow rather than a complete task-planning suite.
A team with field work can use mobile time entries and optional routes; office and remote staff can use browser or desktop timers. Decide who needs each mode before enabling location or screenshot collection.
The work it supports
Core capabilities
A worker can start time in the browser or add a manual entry. The timesheet can require selected fields, include custom fields, hide manager-only data and lock a completed period, which helps a team keep one consistent record.
The Windows, macOS and Linux desktop app offers a one-click timer and an activity timeline. A user can turn a selected timeline span into a time entry. Test the app with a fictional project before relying on its automatic tracking behavior.
The mobile app supports a timer or manual time entry while away from the office. Trackabi says GPS route tracking is enabled by default in that timer but may be disabled; confirm the setting and who can view routes before any real field use.
For a project, set milestones, tasks and subtasks, then estimate time and cost. Compare the estimate with recorded hours during the work; validate rate assumptions before treating that comparison as a final financial total.
Turn a timesheet view into a report, choose fields, group by client or project, and export to Excel or PDF. A buyer should sample an export to see whether the fields match its invoicing and payroll handoff.
Leave types, allowances and personal/team calendars sit next to timesheets. Employees can request time off and managers can approve it, so an absence can be represented as planned leave rather than an unexplained missing entry.
Trackabi advertises app and website logs, screenshots, activity scores and field GPS as monitoring options. Its About page says those controls can be switched separately. Choose a narrow configuration and confirm the applicable team policy before collecting real activity.
Role permissions can limit access to wages, screenshots and colleagues’ timesheets. Review manager, worker and client views with fictional records so sensitive activity and rate data are visible only where intended.
A time report can feed an invoice; Trackabi says invoices may also be created from scratch, emailed to clients and followed through payment status. Review a sample invoice before using recorded time as a billable amount.

Pricing and getting started
Trackabi’s About page advertises Free Starter for up to five users and names timers, timesheets, reports, invoices, projects, leave schedules, rates and dashboards. Confirm the current limits and whether the specific monitoring or GPS controls you need are included before choosing the tier.
Trackabi’s About page displays paid plans starting at $3.20 per user per month on annual billing and a 30-day trial without a credit card. Confirm currency, tax, annual total, selected-tier features and trial eligibility when choosing a plan.
Look a little closer
Before you choose
Use a fictional project to compare browser, desktop and mobile entries, then inspect the report and invoice output. This exposes field, timer and rate differences without recording a real employee or client.
Before enabling monitoring, decide whether screenshots, app and website logs, activity scores or GPS routes are required. Verify default mobile GPS, role access and the team’s policy with a no-person test account or mock data.
Before committing, compare user count, monitoring and GPS rights, report exports, and the billing term for the selected tier. Verify current plan details with Trackabi and check any trial-to-paid transition that affects your team.
