Who it is for
A small practice with several staff members can combine their booking pages, then test one service and one staff schedule before moving all appointments. Check what clients see when a staff member is unavailable or a service requires a particular location.
An organization offering consultations and classes can use targeted booking links for each service or class. A sample booking should confirm the right duration, capacity, location and rescheduling rules before sharing a link broadly.
Teams collecting information before a visit can configure intake fields and client profiles. Limit collected fields to what is needed and check staff access and retention requirements before asking for sensitive details.
The work it supports
Core capabilities
Booking pages. TimeTap describes dedicated links for general business, individual staff, services, classes and locations, plus website embedding. A buyer should compare the general scheduler with a targeted link so clients reach the intended appointment type.
Staff and client changes. Staff can manage separate calendars under an organization booking site. Clients can book and, when configured, change an appointment themselves; test rescheduling cutoffs and staff visibility with a harmless sample.
Intake. Custom booking forms can feed client profile fields. Trial a short form on desktop and mobile, check who sees each answer and avoid collecting more information than the appointment requires.
Calendar sync. The two-way connection can block times marked Busy on an external calendar and display TimeTap appointments there. Test a new event and a changed event with the actual calendar provider; incorrect busy/free status can leave an apparently open slot.
Messages. TimeTap offers appointment confirmations, reminders and follow-up text/email, with advanced triggers listed under Business. Review wording, recipient, timing and plan inclusion in a sample workflow before enabling real sends.
Group booking. Single-session classes can accept multiple attendees, while courses or seminars can span multiple days. Check group capacity and cancellation rules with a trial class rather than assuming a one-to-one service behaves the same way.
Waitlists. Business lists automatic waitlist and TimeTap describes inviting a registrant when a class seat opens. Test how a cancelled seat is offered and expires before relying on it for a full class.
Payments. Booking-page payment collection is optional and requires a configured processor; TimeTap presents LumaPay as its standard integration. Test a harmless payment flow in the vendor's supported test mode and verify taxes, refunds and fees before taking real payments.
Reports. TimeTap describes scheduling coverage, invoices and appointment history reports. Confirm the specific report and export fields needed for operations before treating it as a replacement for an existing reporting process.

Pricing and getting started
Professional, Business and custom-quoted Enterprise are shown on the current pricing page. Annual/monthly choices and staff/location quantities affect the estimate. In the captured one-staff/one-location view, Professional displayed $22.45/month and Business $40.45/month; confirm the live billing period, currency, quantity and checkout total because the calculator was not operated.
The displayed Professional list includes custom forms, two-way calendar sync and text/email messages. Business adds an automatic waitlist, travel-time calculator, automated email triggers and digital paperwork; Enterprise lists SSO and tiered controls. Verify the current plan matrix, especially if forms, messages or multiple locations are decisive.
TimeTap advertises a 14-day card-free trial of Professional or Business. It also says paid subscriptions can be cancelled in-app or hibernated; ask about data export and reactivation before using hibernation. A free scheduling page included with an account should not be read as an unlimited free subscription plan.
Payment processing is a separate cost to inspect. The current LumaPay page displays 2.9% plus $0.30 per transaction and says the fee can be charged to the merchant or client. Confirm the processor and exact regional fee terms for the account being opened.

Before you choose
Start with one end-to-end example: configure a service and staff availability, book through the public page, reschedule it and inspect both the TimeTap and external calendars. Include a blocked Busy event to catch a sync rule that would allow double booking.
If the workflow needs classes, waitlists, payment at booking or sensitive intake, check each separately against the selected plan and region. Optional payment and messaging features add setup and operational checks beyond basic scheduling.
This profile uses current public TimeTap pages. No account, appointment, calendar connection, form submission, message, trial signup or payment was operated, and the interactive price calculator was not tested.
