Taskworld

What it does

Taskworld is a project workspace built around tasklists: teams can create tasks, arrange work in board, table or timeline views, then review progress in project analytics. The workflow suits teams that need task execution and a shared picture of project status. This profile uses public vendor documentation; no account was tested.

Who it is for

A project team can start with one real plan: add tasklists, make tasks with owners and dates, then use the board for day-to-day movement and the timeline for sequencing. This gives a practical trial of the handoff from planning to execution.

A lead watching several projects can use the project dashboard and analytics to compare status and completion, and a workload report to spot concentrated assignments. The workload report requires both start and end dates on tasks, so test it with representative data.

Pricing and getting started

Taskworld describes a 14-day trial with Business features. A newer help article says the workspace expires after 14 days unless the user subscribes. Check the current upgrade screen before relying on continued access after the trial.

The vendor says paid plans other than Enterprise generally support monthly or annual per-user billing. It says added licenses are prorated and reductions take effect at the end of the billing period. Confirm the chosen tier, seat count, currency and final total in the live billing flow; this listing does not give a fixed price.

Enterprise is a sales-led option with invoice payment available. The help center also says the team-management feature is unavailable during Free Trial, even though the FAQ describes a Business-feature trial; confirm the exact trial entitlement before planning a team-wide evaluation.

Look a little closer

Before you choose

Dependencies are limited to tasks within one project, and the help article excludes subtasks and tasks present in multiple projects. Test a representative chain before using Taskworld for a plan that crosses project boundaries.

Board is useful for moving task cards, table shows properties in rows, and the timeline uses dates and dependencies. Choose the view your team will maintain; a Gantt-style timeline is most useful when dates are entered consistently.

Project analytics show planned, completed and overdue tasks, and reports can be downloaded via Google Sheets as Excel or PDF. Decide what project information should be shared outside the workspace before exporting.

The workload report can calculate by task count or points, but it omits tasks missing a start or end date and reflects project state when the report was generated. Refresh it after edits before using it for capacity decisions.

Guest access is narrower than member access: the vendor article says guests cannot create tasks or access project reports. Check that role boundary with a trial workspace before inviting a client or external collaborator.
