Find your fit
Who it is for
It fits a store or other customer-facing site that wants real-time help while visitors browse. A single operator can begin with the Free or Solo configuration; a team should check operator seats, connected channels and the conversation workflow before choosing a paid tier.
Teams already answering Messenger, WhatsApp or email may value one dashboard, but each channel has its own connection and plan requirements. Verify the actual connected channels with a test message from each one.

Core capabilities
Installation starts with an account and unique chat code. The vendor documents direct website code, Google Tag Manager and ready-made plugins; after installation, check that the widget loads on the published site and on a phone. The public documentation does not show that this research installed it.
Visitors send live-chat questions through the website widget. Agents see conversations in an inbox organized by open, resolved, channel and tags, so they can separate new work from finished conversations.
A conversation can be assigned to one or more agents, and a resolved conversation moves back to Open if the visitor writes again. Test assignment and reopening with two agents before using the shared inbox for time-sensitive support.
The live-chat page describes drag-and-drop file sharing, reusable response shortcuts, conversation ratings and history statistics. Decide what files visitors should be allowed to send and review a sample conversation for the details retained.
Smartsupp can bring Messenger, WhatsApp and email into its dashboard alongside live chat. Connect only the channels included in the selected plan, then test assignment and replies from the actual external account.
A Flow presents predefined questions and answers and can branch through several messages; an automatic message is a single triggered message. The Flow can offer a human handoff, and the agent can see the questions and answers the visitor already saw.
The mobile app supports replying while away from the desk. If mobile coverage matters, test a chat handoff and notification timing on the devices the team actually uses.

Pricing and getting started
On the currently viewed USD pricing display, Free is $0 with one operator, 25 conversations a month and limited 14-day history. Solo is displayed at $17 per month billed annually with one operator and unlimited conversations. Check whether the Free cap and retained history fit a real week of traffic before relying on it.
Plus is displayed at $25 per month billed annually with three operators and automated workflows; Expert is $83 per month billed annually with five or more operators and premium support. These are public display figures, not a checkout quote. Confirm currency, tax, billing interval and any extra operator or channel cost.
The pricing page advertises a 14-day trial without a credit card. Basic automated messages appear in Solo, while automated workflows appear in Plus and Expert. The Mira AI Agent is offered separately with conversation allowances, so price its actual usage separately from human-agent seats.
Look a little closer
Before you choose
A practical trial is one test site and two sample visitors: ask a routine question, assign it, use a shortcut, hand a Flow to a person and reply after resolving the chat. Check what the visitor receives and what appears in history before placing it on a production site.
The vendor describes AI and automation beside live chat, but those capabilities have different plan and usage boundaries. Confirm the chosen tier, agent allowances, connected channels and data-retention expectations in a dated quote. This research did not operate an account, real visitor chat, AI answer or subscription.
