Find your fit
Who it is for
It fits offices with hybrid attendance, shared seating or busy meeting rooms where employees need to find a place without routing every request through an administrator. Desk neighborhoods can help teams plan days together; room filters can help staff find a space with the needed amenities.
The profile describes Skedda’s workplace booking plans. AllBooked by Skedda is a separately marketed option for sports, studios, coworking and community venues, including membership and payment functions. A venue selling public reservations should compare that offer separately.
The work it supports
Core capabilities
Employees can browse a live floor plan, see which desks are open and reserve a desk from desktop, phone or Microsoft Teams. Neighborhoods group nearby desks so teammates can coordinate where they sit.
For a meeting room, staff can inspect availability and amenities, choose a room and time, and confirm a reservation. Skedda describes two-way calendar sync with Microsoft 365, Outlook and Google; test the intended calendar and room-resource setup before replacing an existing process.
Administrators can limit who books, which spaces and times they can choose, how far ahead they may reserve, and how much time a person or group may take. Conditions can vary by space, day, time, duration and user tags. Bookings are allowed by default unless a rule denies them, so a restricted room needs an explicit rule and a test with representative users.
A configured check-in rule can remind a holder to confirm attendance and optionally release an unclaimed desk or room. Removal is an administrator choice, not an automatic default. Since rule changes can affect existing bookings, start a new policy in log-only mode and inspect the results before turning on removal.
On an eligible plan, a space can require a booking request for admin approval. The request does not appear as a confirmed booking until it is approved. For room calendars, Skedda’s support article currently describes two-way approval sync with Microsoft and a narrower Google path; check that exact combination before rollout.
Reporting can show desk and room usage, peak periods and booking patterns. Use a small pilot to compare reservations with check-in behavior, then decide whether the rules and space layout match actual office use.

Pricing and getting started
The current United States and Canada workplace pricing page shows Plus starting at $249 per month billed annually with 35 spaces, and Premier starting at $349 with 45 spaces. The page says plans are priced per space; Premier adds fuller rule controls and assigned spaces. The displayed dollar sign does not name a currency code, so confirm the quote, included spaces, tax and any extras for the buyer’s region.
The same page lists tailored Enterprise pricing through sales. Its EMEA and APAC section has separate Starter, Plus and Premier starting amounts and space counts, so do not apply the North American figures to those regions. Compare the exact features and included space allowance on the quoted plan.
AllBooked is marketed separately for sports, studios, coworking and community reservations, with payment and membership functions. Those are not assumed to be part of a Skedda workplace subscription.
Look a little closer
Before you choose
Map the actual desks, rooms, amenities and neighborhoods before inviting everyone. Test availability and the calendar connection with a small group, including a simultaneous room request, so staff can see whether the floor plan matches the office and existing calendars.
Write booking rules for high-demand rooms or desks before rollout. Because bookings are allowed by default, test an allowed user and one who should be restricted. If approvals are needed, confirm the quoted tier and the intended Microsoft or Google calendar behavior.
Pilot check-in without automatic removal first. Confirm how late arrivals and missed reminders appear, then decide whether releasing unclaimed spaces is appropriate. Check the plan’s space count and rule limits against the office layout before committing to an annual quote.
