SendFox

What it does

SendFox is an email marketing service for creators from Sumo Group Inc. It joins a hosted signup page or form, contact lists, newsletters and list-triggered welcome sequences in one workflow. A user can start with a small free audience and later choose a subscription or the current one-time offer.

The plan distinction matters: Free and Pro have monthly send allowances, while the $29 Lifetime deal has a fixed 300,000-send pool. Newsletters, automated messages and application messages all spend from the same allowance. Buyers should estimate sends as well as contact count.

Find your fit

Who it is for

A writer, podcaster or small creator can put a SendFox Smart Page in a bio, collect subscribers into a list and email a regular issue. A standalone website is not required for the hosted page; a small audience can begin on Free.

A creator with several topics or offers can use lists and tags to choose recipients and a list-triggered sequence to welcome new subscribers. Check permission and per-list unsubscribe settings before moving a list from another service.

The work it supports

Core capabilities

Create or edit a hosted Smart Page with a built-in signup form, choose the list that receives signups, and share its link. The Free account starts with one page; other page and form allowances depend on plan.

Import contacts to a list from CSV or supported connected sources. Use tags and filters to organize contacts across lists, then choose the intended lists or tags when drafting a campaign. Import only people who agreed to receive it.

Draft an issue, select recipients, send a test, then send immediately or schedule. SendFox also offers Smart Campaign drafts from a blog, podcast or YouTube source; review the draft, recipient selection and timing before it goes out.

Build a welcome or drip sequence by choosing a trigger list, adding emails and wait times. Each new contact added to that list enters the sequence. Check the first delay and the total expected sends before activating it.

A sent email can be published to a Smart Page as a linked web post. This gives an issue a public destination beyond the inbox; check what content is suitable for a public page before enabling it.

Per-list unsubscribe lets a reader leave a topic while remaining subscribed to others. Resubscribing a contact restores all lists they had left, so confirm permission and the desired list state first.

Confirm the account email and enter the required mailing address before sending. Domain validation uses DNS CNAME records and is available even on Free; verify the sending identity before a real campaign.

Developers can request access to a separate beta transactional API for app messages such as receipts and login codes. Approval and domain setup are needed; these messages also use the account send allowance.

Understand the offer

Pricing and getting started

Free currently lists 1,000 contacts, 3,000 sends per month, one Smart Page, one form, one automation and up to three lists. It is useful for a small newsletter, but the contacts, sends and creation limits should all be checked as the audience grows.

The current $29 one-time Lifetime offer lists 5,000 contacts and 300,000 total sends. That send pool does not reset. It includes unlimited automations, Smart Pages and forms, but retains a small SendFox footer.

Pro is displayed from $19 per month at the shown 5,000-contact setting and includes 100,000 sends per month. Its tiers scale with contact count, and it removes SendFox branding and adds options such as a full HTML editor and paid newsletters. Confirm the selected tier, billing period, currency and entitlements before buying.

Newsletters, automations and transactional messages share one send allowance. When a limit is reached, automation emails can wait; messages still queued 60 days after the Lifetime pool is exhausted can be dropped. Monitor usage before a launch or time-sensitive welcome sequence.

Canceling Pro is separate from deleting the account and takes effect at the end of the paid period. The official help directs buyers of AppSumo deals to AppSumo for refunds. Check the current terms for the place where you purchased.

Look a little closer

Before you choose

Before sending to an imported audience, check subscriber permission, the chosen list and tags, account email verification, mailing address and sending domain. Send a small permitted test to inspect the result before a larger issue.

Estimate both contacts and messages. A welcome series sends multiple emails per contact, and those messages draw from the same allowance as regular issues. The fixed Lifetime pool may suit a different sending pattern than a monthly Pro tier.

If you use several lists, test what happens when a reader leaves one. Do not restore unsubscribed people without renewed permission; SendFox warns that resubscribing restores all previously left lists.

If application receipts or login codes are part of the plan, request transactional access and verify domain setup separately. The feature is labeled beta and its messages share the marketing send allowance.
