Find your fit
Who it is for
A person arranging a committee meeting, team discussion or social event can send one poll link and let everyone mark when they can attend. Participants do not have to work through separate email threads for every proposed time.
A team that organizes many overlapping events may prefer Pro and a shared space with central member management and billing. Occasional organizers should first check whether the free account’s three-open-poll limit is enough.
The work it supports
Core capabilities
The organizer begins with an event title and can add a location, description or video call. In month view they can choose dates and adjust times; week view allows time slots on a calendar. Options can also be all day, so a whole-day event need not be forced into a one-hour meeting.
For people in different regions, Rallly displays times in each participant’s local time zone by default. The organizer can lock the time zone when everybody should see the same clock times. Check this setting on a fictional cross-region poll before sending a real invitation.
Participants normally answer Yes, If need be or No for each option. An organizer can simplify the choices to Yes and No. This helps distinguish a firm available time from one someone could manage only with effort.
After creation, the Share dialog offers a link that can be pasted into a chat, email or calendar invitation. Anyone holding that link can vote, so the organizer should treat it as shareable access rather than a private invitation to named people.
Rallly can also send invitations to specific email addresses, then show whether an invite was sent, opened or answered. That organizer-sent email invitation is a Pro feature on Rallly Cloud; free users can still copy and share the link themselves.
As people respond, the organizer can inspect which dates are preferred. Before deciding, they should check both the vote totals and any “If need be” responses; a leading option is not automatically a commitment from every participant.
A participant can save an email address to receive a response-confirmation link for later edits. Rallly otherwise uses browser cookies to recognize that response; someone changing device or clearing cookies may need an edit link from the organizer.
Finalizing is available on every plan. Rallly ranks candidate dates, shows who can make each one, and lets the organizer choose the final time. Finalization then closes the poll to new responses, so verify the selected time and notification list first.
When finalizing, the organizer may deselect people they will tell separately. Rallly sends calendar invitations to the selected participants who supplied email addresses; participants without an address cannot receive that notification through the poll.
If the poll contains a video call, Rallly creates its link at finalization and includes it in the invitation. Google Meet is available across plans; Zoom, Microsoft Teams and Webex are listed as Pro options. Check the chosen provider before relying on it for a real event.

Pricing and getting started
Creating a poll without an account is free, but the current open-poll limit is one in that state. A free account can keep three polls open at once. Finalized or closed polls stop counting, and Pro removes the concurrent open-poll limit.
Rallly says free users can create more polls over time without a fixed participant or option cap. The practical limit is how many polls are simultaneously collecting votes, not the cumulative number an organizer has ever created.
The free plan retains an old poll until all its dates are more than 30 days in the past and it has had no activity for 30 days; then it may be deleted. Pro lists indefinite retention. Anyone who needs a lasting record should check how results will be preserved before relying on the free archive.
Pro adds poll duplication, advanced settings, organizer-sent email invitations, team collaboration, custom branding, API access and webhooks. The pricing page offers monthly and yearly selectors and per-seat billing; confirm the selected currency, term, tax and seat count in checkout rather than using a static price quoted here.
Look a little closer
Before you choose
Run a harmless sample poll with two people in different time zones. Confirm how options appear to each, whether “If need be” is useful, and what a shared link reveals to anyone who has it.
Before the real event, choose a sample final date and inspect who would receive calendar invitations. People without email addresses need a separate message, and finalization closes voting.
If several organizers are coordinating events, count simultaneous open polls and check whether they need shared-space management, email invites, another video provider or long retention. These needs, rather than total lifetime polls, determine whether Pro is useful.
