Who it is for
Project managers coordinating dependent tasks can use the schedule and resource views to see what moves when a deadline or assignment changes. The product is also aimed at PMOs reviewing several teams or programs rather than a single to-do list.
A buyer with Jira, Azure DevOps or other project systems should start by mapping which work and time data will actually flow into Project Insight. A portfolio report is only as complete as its connected sources, ownership rules and update cadence.
The work it supports
Core capabilities
Build projects with tasks and related documents, issues and approvals, then connect task dependencies. Intelligent scheduling can shift dependent dates when a plan changes. Test a sample project with a delayed predecessor and inspect which downstream milestones move.
The planning tools can compare staffing or priority changes in a what-if scenario before updating the live schedule. Resource views show demand across projects and portfolios, and managers can rebalance work in list, Kanban, Gantt or report views. Include PTO and outside commitments in a pilot so apparent availability is realistic.
Portfolio tools link initiatives to strategic objectives and support requests, scoring and approvals before allocating people or budget. Leaders can use connected reports across projects and programs, but should agree on project-health and priority definitions before treating a dashboard as a decision record.
Team members can log time from tasks, mobile or connected systems; managers can review and approve timesheets. Approved hours can feed capacity, billing and project financial information. Check rate, client and billing-code setup with a small sample before trusting a financial roll-up.
Project Insight describes pulling project information from other systems into portfolio views. That can reduce duplicate reporting, but each integration needs an explicit test for fields, timing and direction of sync before it replaces an existing status process.

Pricing and getting started
The public pricing page shows a Free plan at $0, Pro at $9 per user per month, Business at $19 per user per month, and a contact-sales Enterprise option. Its feature matrix shows a three-user maximum for Free. Confirm the selected plan's exact feature rights, currency, billing term and total with the vendor or checkout.
An on-premise version is offered through Enterprise sales. The public pricing page also offers a trial and says plans can change, while its annual-cancellation wording calls for advance notice. Get deployment, support and cancellation terms in writing before adopting a paid or on-premise arrangement.
Look a little closer
Before you choose
Pilot one real project and one cross-project staffing decision. Change a dependent task, compare a what-if plan, record and approve time, and check whether the portfolio report reflects the same underlying facts. This exposes missing data and plan features early.
Review the feature matrix with the vendor for the exact edition, add-ons and connected systems. The published monthly per-user figures are a starting display rather than a full implementation estimate; count all roles that need access and confirm trial, billing and cancellation terms.
