Who it is for
Postiz targets marketers, creators, developers and automation teams that manage content across several networks. It is most relevant when a buyer needs a repeatable path from draft to review to scheduled post, with one place to see the upcoming calendar.
An agency can group channels for multiple brands and save common publishing combinations as Sets. Plan by connected account, rather than network name: three Facebook pages use three channel slots.

Core capabilities
Begin in the calendar, open the post composer and choose the channels that should receive a post. The vendor walkthrough then has the operator write and refine the content. A draft can remain unscheduled while the team checks copy and media.
Cross-post one item to several selected channels, changing the message for a particular platform where needed. Sets retain recurring channel combinations and their message templates, reducing repetitive selection for a regular campaign.
For content that stays useful, repeated posts can run on a chosen interval. RSS auto-posting can also watch a blog or feed and create social content when new source material appears. Check both automations against the editorial calendar to avoid unwanted repetition.
The platform presents metrics such as impressions, likes, comments and shares across connected channels. These are useful for comparing published items, but exact fields and completeness depend on what each social network supplies.
Hosted plans expose MCP, CLI and a public API so an external agent or custom workflow can prepare and schedule posts. Webhooks can notify another system when publication occurs. The vendor describes agent-made posts landing in the calendar for a human to review, edit or reschedule.
AI-generated copy or media still needs an editorial check before publication. Postiz’s Terms say AI output can be inaccurate or unsuitable, and the user remains responsible for its content and platform compliance.

Pricing and getting started
Postiz Cloud lists Standard, Team, Pro and Ultimate with allowances of 5, 10, 30 and 100 connected channels. Standard has no team support in the pricing display; Team and higher list unlimited team members. The hosted trial lasts seven days, with no permanent free Cloud tier.
On the October 2026 monthly-billing display, Standard is $29, Team $39, Pro $49 and Ultimate $99 per month. The pricing FAQ shows annual-billing monthly equivalents of $23, $31, $39 and $79. Confirm currency, taxes, annual total and the checkout term before paying.
Each connected account occupies a channel slot. If a downgrade leaves more active connections than the new plan permits, Postiz says it disables the most recent ones rather than deleting them. Inventory every brand and account before choosing or reducing a plan.
The separate self-hosted edition is published under AGPL-3.0. It can avoid the Cloud subscription, but the operator supplies a server, installation, updates, backups and social-network developer-app approvals. Postiz offers optional paid app-approval help, and says new agent features reach Cloud first; verify the exact self-hosted build before assuming parity.
For Cloud, the Terms say subscriptions renew unless cancelled before the next billing period. Cancellation stops future renewals, but does not itself return a prorated amount for the current period. Review the current terms and the checkout record before an annual commitment.

Before you choose
Use a fictional campaign to check the selected network formats, draft review, per-channel message changes and the scheduled calendar. Verify that the intended team member can stop at Draft before any live channel is connected or post is sent.
Count active accounts, not just network names, and check which staff need access. Standard omits team support in the viewed pricing display; a downgrade can disable recent connections when the lower channel allowance is exceeded.
For an agent or RSS workflow, define who reviews generated content and when it can publish. Check the chosen channel’s current rules and authorization: a revoked platform connection stops future scheduled posts, and platform API changes can affect delivery or metrics.
Compare Cloud’s managed integrations and subscription against the work of running the self-hosted edition, including server maintenance and developer-app approvals. Confirm the needed agent capabilities on the actual edition and version the team plans to use.
