Who it is for

A business that regularly serves customers can send a review invitation from Podium, use reminder automation, and have a team monitor responses. Confirm how contacts arrive, when a request is appropriate, and which staff should access the shared inbox before enabling messages.

Podium lists a specific Square connection that can trigger requests after purchases or payment events. That is one documented integration path, not a promise that every point-of-sale or practice system has the same trigger.

The work it supports

Core capabilities

Review invitations. A team member can send a review invite to a customer from the Podium Inbox. Check the destination, contact permission and timing before making this part of the customer workflow.

Automated reminders. Podium describes review invite and reminder automation. Decide when follow-ups should stop and confirm the available controls in the quoted plan.

Review reporting. Podium describes totals for reviews received and detailed attribution. Confirm the attribution fields and export needs in a demo if those numbers will drive team decisions.

Pricing and getting started

Quote-based pricing. Podium’s current pricing page asks buyers to choose their industry and request a custom quote; it does not display a standard dollar amount there. Ask for the selected products, locations, messaging allowances, AI functions, setup costs and contract term in writing.

Subscription commitment. Podium’s current default terms say a subscription starts with a twelve-month term, renews for the same length, and requires written non-renewal notice at least thirty days before term end. A buyer’s subscription document can state different terms, so check the signed order for its period, renewal date, notice method and exceptions.

Look a little closer

Before you choose

Reviews and other conversations can share one team inbox. Map who monitors incoming reviews, who sends invitations, and who approves public replies so the workflow has an owner.

The AI Reputation Specialist drafts invitations and replies. Decide whether a person will review wording before it is sent or posted, and confirm which automatic actions the quoted package permits.

The Square listing describes automated requests after purchases, invoices, orders or payment completion. The setup chooses a Podium location and authorizes data access; verify event mapping and customer permissions before turning it on.

The vendor describes review sync to customer profiles and a mobile app. Check the review-site coverage, mobile role controls and data-handling needs in a live walkthrough; the public pages do not prove every source or setup.
