Who it is for
A small team can start with Ora Basic to collect project tasks, set owners and due dates, and comment on work. The free plan is capped at ten members and 10 MB per attachment, so confirm those limits before moving a larger team or heavy files.
Software and services teams with several parallel projects may value cross-project timeline planning, task estimates and member or project time reports. Test the view and reporting workflow with a sample project before depending on it for client commitments.
Teams inviting clients or public observers should examine paid observer and visibility controls. A sample observer account is a useful way to confirm which tasks, comments and tracked time are actually visible.
The work it supports
Core capabilities
Ora offers list, table and Kanban views over project task cards. Cards can carry an owner, due date, attachment, checklist and discussion, giving a team one place to advance and explain each item.
Milestones group related tasks. A pipeline workflow changes a task state when its card moves to another list; teams that prefer mixed states inside one list can turn that workflow off. Choose the state model before building reporting habits around it.
The timeline displays scheduled cards across projects by project or assignee. A planner can pull backlog tasks onto dates; drawn blocking relationships require the Pro task-relationship add-on to be active.
Ora can estimate and track time on tasks, including manual entries, and display reports by member, project or organization. A sample reporting period helps check whether the time records answer your actual planning or billing questions.
For migration, Ora documents CSV project import with field and member matching. It also documents project export in CSV, Markdown, text and JSON. Test both directions with a small project, especially if assignments and comments matter.
Official documentation lists connections for Zendesk, Slack, GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket and Zapier. Integrations and optional privacy controls need an account-level test for exact permissions and plan availability.

Pricing and getting started
Basic is advertised as free for up to ten members, with unlimited projects and tasks and a 10 MB attachment cap. Professional is displayed at $5.99 per user monthly on annual billing or $10 on monthly billing. The captured page shows a dollar sign but does not assign a currency, so confirm the checkout region, tax and total.
Enterprise is displayed at $27.99 per user monthly on annual billing or $30 on monthly billing, with single sign-on and file encryption listed. Check the final quote or checkout, including currency and seats, before treating a display price as a committed amount.
Professional adds listed recurring tasks, task relationships, list actions, observers and larger attachments. Those differences matter if a team needs automation, guest review or dependency planning; check each feature in the exact plan selected.
Ora advertises a 30-day Professional trial that requires a card. Its help says to cancel before the trial ends to avoid being charged; test plan features early and record the billing end date.
Adding a paid member can trigger a prorated charge for the remaining cycle, while removing one creates credit for a later cycle. A team expecting changing headcount should check this seat behavior before inviting everyone.
Look a little closer
Before you choose
Set up one representative project with real stages, a milestone and two assignees. Decide whether moving a card should automatically change its state, then check the timeline and time report against the same work.
If clients or observers need access, configure visibility on lists, tasks, time and comments, and verify it with an observer before sharing a live project. Observers and advanced privacy should also be checked against the chosen paid plan.
Before migration, map a small CSV file into Ora and export that sample project back out. Confirm whether your needed assignments, comments and history survive the chosen route rather than assuming all data types move together.
Compare the member cap, attachment size, paid feature set, billing term, currency and required trial card as one decision. A displayed per-user rate alone will not capture the total for a growing team.
