Find your fit
Who it is for
It fits a salon or spa that schedules staff, services and sometimes rooms or equipment, especially when clients book through the business website. A trial should use the actual provider schedule and service lengths to see whether the available slots match how the business works.
A multi-location business can estimate the subscription from both location and staff-user counts. Front-desk staff count as users too, so include everyone who needs a profile before comparing prices.
The work it supports
Core capabilities
Place appointments on a calendar that shows status and details, then work through checkout without leaving the schedule view. Staff schedules and blocked time determine whether a provider is bookable online.
Assign limited rooms or equipment to services to guard against overlapping bookings. Test a service that needs both a provider and a room before opening the calendar to clients.
Use group appointments when several guests attend, and repeating appointments for regular visits. Check how changes to one occurrence affect the rest of a sample series.
The Intelligent Waitlist can match a newly open slot to a waiting client and notify staff. Try a fictional cancellation and inspect which service, provider and time the proposed match uses.
Embed online booking on the business website without requiring clients to create an account. Choose which services and providers appear, and allow selected add-ons, group bookings or special requests.
For services that need an appointment policy, online booking can ask for acceptance, a card on file, a deposit or full prepayment. The business should decide which services require each step before publishing the booking link.
Automated confirmation requests, reminders and cancellation notices can go by email and text. Check timing and wording with a fictional appointment so each message reflects the actual cancellation policy and visit details.
Client profiles can show prior appointments, sales, notes, photos and completed forms. Custom forms can gather intake details, waivers and consent before a visit; review access to sensitive notes and photos before importing real client records.
The integrated checkout supports front-desk or phone-based client payment and service-specific deposits or prepayments. Test the desired path with demo data first, including tips, receipts and who owns a renter’s payment.

Pricing and getting started
The current pricing page displays $120 per location each month plus $10 per user each month. Anyone with a Mangomint profile counts as a user, including providers and front-desk staff. Model the actual locations and people in the pricing calculator and confirm the selected currency and final total.
Phone, marketing and payroll are optional separately priced add-ons. The pricing page separately lists transaction rates for in-person and virtual payments, with possible custom rates for larger businesses. Do not treat the base subscription as the full cost of taking payments.
A free trial with demo data is advertised, and the pricing FAQ says there is no contract and cancellation is allowed any time. The vendor advertises free onboarding and data transfer, but migration scope depends on the source data and a dedicated specialist is described for teams with at least two providers.
The vendor says online appointments carry no separate booking fee and appointment confirmation/reminder texts and emails are included. These statements do not remove subscription or card-processing charges; confirm the chosen booking and payment configuration.
Look a little closer
Before you choose
Mangomint says an outside card processor can be used, but its own processing is needed for Express Booking, self checkout, cards on file and deposits. Check that dependency before promising clients a prepayment or saved-card booking flow.
Walk a fictional client through website booking, policy acceptance, a reminder, calendar arrival and checkout. Include a waitlisted or group booking if the business uses them, and verify the provider and room availability at each step.
For a migration, ask which client, product, gift-card, service and appointment fields can transfer from the old system. Review sample records and custom forms before any real import, especially where health or payment information is involved.
