Manatal

What it does

Manatal is recruiting software built around an applicant tracking system. A hiring team can bring candidates in through sourcing channels, collect their details in candidate profiles, and move them through a job-specific pipeline. The product also has career pages and search tools; plan choice matters because job limits and workflow automation vary by tier.

Who it is for

A small recruiter or hiring team managing a limited set of openings can use Professional to organize candidate records and stages. Its cap is 15 jobs across the account and 10,000 candidates; the job count is not a headcount or a separate allowance for each recruiter.

A team handling many open roles should compare Enterprise, which the current plan grid lists with unlimited jobs and candidates. It also adds workflow automation for routine candidate communications as applicants move through or leave stages.

An organization needing single sign-on, user groups or API access should examine Enterprise Plus. Those controls are described as exclusive to that tier, so confirm security and integration needs before choosing a lower plan.

The work it supports

Core capabilities

Candidate pipeline. Configure stages for each job, view applicants as a board or list, and move candidates through the process.

Candidate records and search. Keep resume details, messages, annotations and vacancy feedback together, then search candidates, jobs, contacts or companies.

Candidate sourcing. Bring applicants from job boards, social networks, LinkedIn and a branded career page into the recruiting workflow.

Resume intake. Manatal describes parsing incoming resumes to extract work experience and skills, and it offers CSV or JSON imports for existing recruiting data.

Connected communications. Mail and calendar integrations are described for Outlook/Office 365 and Gmail. Enterprise-tier workflow automation can trigger candidate emails at hiring stages.

Pricing and getting started

The official FAQ lists annual-billing rates in USD per user per month: Professional $15, Enterprise $35 and Enterprise Plus $55. The pricing page’s monthly tab displays $19, $39 and $59 respectively; that grid does not visibly name the dollar currency, so confirm the monthly billing currency and checkout total.

Professional allows up to 15 jobs per account and 10,000 candidates. Enterprise removes those job and candidate caps and includes workflow automation. Enterprise Plus adds controls including SSO, user groups and API access.

A 14-day trial starts without a card. Trial users who have not subscribed cannot use free or paid job board posting, Manatal-domain email, mass email, email automations, AI-generated job descriptions or the GDPR consent request tool. If a valid payment method is entered, Manatal says billing begins after the remaining trial days based on the chosen plan and users.

Look a little closer

Before you choose

Map the number of simultaneous job records before choosing Professional. The limit applies to jobs created in the account, not to the number of hires for one job, and is shared across users.

Check the path used to acquire and communicate with candidates during evaluation. The trial restricts job board posting and several email tools, so a trial cannot validate every paid workflow before a subscription and account verification.

For an existing candidate database, plan a sample import using the documented CSV or JSON route and inspect how records and notes appear in candidate profiles. Public pages describe the import and profile features, but no account, data migration, integration, automation or purchase was tested for this listing.
