Who it is for

A solo marketer who needs a visual posting routine can start with Starter’s one-user, one-Social-Set limits. A team that also responds to comments or needs internal approvals should compare Growth or Scale, because the current Social Inbox reply workflow is not included with Starter.

Teams publishing to several networks can customize a scheduled post for each profile rather than copying one version everywhere. The supported post types and auto-publishing steps still vary by network, so test a representative post before moving a full calendar.

The work it supports

Core capabilities

Social publishing. Schedule posts for several profiles at once and customize each version. A calendar helps organize the queue; check whether a specific Instagram or TikTok format uses automatic or notification publishing.

Comment management. Social Inbox groups supported Instagram, Facebook and TikTok comments, with Instagram and Facebook direct messages also described in the vendor help. Reply access is on current Growth and Scale plans; verify each channel’s supported message types.

Social analytics. Track engagement across formats and platforms and view reach and follower growth. Basic platform views and custom dashboards have different plan limits, so confirm the reporting view needed for your team.

Pricing and getting started

The current paid standard plans are Starter, Growth and Scale. At research time the plan page displayed $18.75, $37.50 and $82.50 USD per month respectively when billed yearly, before applicable tax. These are a dated display rather than a regional checkout quote; promotional and legacy accounts can differ.

The current page advertises a 14-day free trial. Starter lists one Social Set and one user with up to 30 posts per profile; Growth lists two sets and two users with up to 180 posts per profile plus the social inbox; Scale lists six sets, four users, unlimited posts and custom analytics. Confirm the account’s current entitlement in its subscription settings.

Look a little closer

Before you choose

A Social Set groups profiles by platform. Count the actual Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and other profiles you intend to connect before selecting a tier; additional sets and users are separate plan choices.

Social Inbox coverage is specific. The help page names Instagram and Facebook DMs, and Instagram, Facebook and TikTok comments. Current Growth and Scale accounts can reply; older subscriptions may need an upgrade.

Scheduling does not mean every post goes live without human action. The vendor explains automatic publishing and notification publishing for Instagram and TikTok; test the media format and account permissions you actually use.

Custom Analytics is listed for Scale, while basic platform analytics appear in lower paid plans. Choose two or three measures to inspect during the trial and confirm the history and export format available in that tier.

SoftwareExplained has not operated a Later account, published a post, replied to a comment, exported a report or checked a regional checkout. The official pages establish the described workflow and plan display, while a real account test is needed before migration.
