Find your fit
Who it is for
It suits a team that needs a shared record of prospects and follow-ups rather than isolated contact lists. The lead form captures source, value, owner and expected close date; contact and organization records supply the people and company context around the deal.
Teams with someone to run a Laravel CRM may prefer the free self-hosted route. Teams that want the vendor to operate the infrastructure can evaluate managed cloud hosting, while checking separately whether an advertised extension is needed for their workflow.
The work it supports
Core capabilities
A lead is the working record for a potential customer. Staff can enter an opportunity description, estimated value, acquisition source, sales owner and expected close date, then attach contact-person and organization details.
The pipeline lets users move a lead between stages and customize those stages. Filters can narrow the lead list by value, owner, person, type, source, tags or close date, which helps a team review the part of the funnel that needs attention.
Contact records hold person details such as email, phone, job title and linked organization. Organization records hold company name, address and owner. These records can be selected when a lead is created, reducing repeated entry across deals.
The lead form can include products with price and quantity. That gives an early opportunity record some commercial context, but a team should decide how it will keep product details current before using them in a proposal.
Staff can schedule an activity such as a call or meeting from a lead, with participants, date/time and location. Activities can also be reviewed in calendar view or filtered by their title, creator, lead or schedule.
A quote can be linked to a lead, sales owner and person, then built from line items with quantities, prices, discounts and taxes. Test one representative quote to check formatting, totals and approval steps before relying on it for live offers.

Pricing and getting started
The vendor offers the Krayin CRM core as a free self-hosted download and shows Composer and source-package installation routes. Self-hosting still requires a server and staff to operate, secure, update and back up the deployment.
Managed cloud hosting is a separate vendor-operated path. Its FAQ says charges depend on server resources rather than user seats and advertises help moving from self-hosting. Confirm server size, region, support, backup, migration cost and final quote for the chosen arrangement.
Extensions are marketed separately and the vendor’s listing includes free and paid filters. Examples promoted on the site include VoIP, Google Workspace and WhatsApp. Check each extension’s current availability, compatibility, price and support before treating it as part of the core CRM.
Look a little closer
Before you choose
Enter a small set of fictional leads from different sources. Assign owners, move them through the team’s real pipeline stages and use filters to review follow-ups and near-term close dates.
Create a person and organization once, attach them to a lead, schedule a call and draft a quote. Check whether the record stays understandable to another salesperson who did not create it.
For a self-hosted evaluation, confirm the server, database, mail delivery, backup and upgrade plan before importing customer data. For cloud, compare resource sizing and the written service terms; do not assume the free download and managed hosting include the same operating duties.
List any desired messaging, telephony or automation feature separately from the basic lead-to-quote flow. The site markets extensions across pages, but inclusion and setup depend on the exact module and plan. Confirm them with the vendor before purchase or rollout.
