Knowmax

What it does

Knowmax is a customer-support knowledge platform for teams that need the same approved answer across agent and self-service channels. It brings articles and FAQs together with branching decision trees and visual how-to guides, so a complex support procedure can be followed as steps instead of searched for in a long document.

Who it is for

It is most relevant to contact centers and other customer-facing teams that maintain frequently used procedures, product answers and troubleshooting paths. The platform is also aimed at customer self-service, so a buyer can plan internal agent guidance and external help from the same knowledge program.

Teams with simple static documentation may use only the article and FAQ formats. Knowmax becomes more distinctive when a support answer needs branching questions, images or delivery inside the agent workflow.

Core capabilities

Create or upload a support article, then link related Knowmax content, files and URLs. FAQs cover common questions and can be added in bulk from an existing spreadsheet. This gives an editor a way to move repeat answers into a maintained knowledge library.

For a procedure that changes according to a customer answer, build a no-code decision tree with guidance steps and response choices. Nodes can jump to another step or carry media, so an agent can follow a troubleshooting path without interpreting a long SOP on the fly.

Use visual guides when screenshots or pictures explain a setup or repair better than prose. Knowmax describes images, annotations and clickable steps, with options to embed a guide into a website, app or chatbot for customer help.

Search the library by title, category or publication date, including text inside a document. The contact-center page also describes conversational AI search for less exact questions; test its answers on your own approved content and confirm the AI entitlement in a current quote.

A Chrome extension can put knowledge beside an agent’s work. Knowmax also describes delivery into websites, apps, CRMs and helpdesks through integrations or APIs; verify the specific system and permissions needed for your agent desktop.

Editors can route content for approval, select departments and channels, and rely on version control to manage changes. Set an owner and review cycle for a sample article before expanding the library, especially when internal and customer-facing audiences differ.

Usage reports can surface popular topics, failed searches and outdated resources. Review those signals against actual support questions to choose what to revise, and check that the reporting granularity fits your quality process.

Pricing and getting started

Knowmax invites buyers to schedule a demo. An official service page describes custom enterprise pricing shaped by user count, selected modules and content migration scope; the reviewed pages do not provide a fixed public rate. Request a written quote that names the included content formats, AI features, integrations, users, migration work and ongoing support.

Ask for any trial or pilot terms in writing when scheduling a demo. The public pages reviewed here did not establish a specific trial length or a self-serve free plan.

Look a little closer

Before you choose

Pilot one common support issue and one difficult exception. Turn the procedure into an article and a branching flow, then ask an agent unfamiliar with it to find and follow the right path using fictional case details.

If setup guidance will go to customers, build a short visual guide and check how it reads on the actual website, app or chatbot channel. Separate any internal-only notes from public steps before publishing.

Test the content approval and update path with a changed policy: who edits, who approves, which departments receive it and how an old version is found. Then inspect failed-search and outdated-content reports to plan maintenance.

Ask the sales team to demonstrate your exact CRM or helpdesk connection and provide a scoped quote for users, modules and migration. Confirm AI search access and any pilot terms before depending on them in the rollout.
