Who it is for
Kantree is positioned for both traditional and agile project work. A project manager can start with a board and timeline; a cross-team lead can build comparable portfolio views. Agree on card fields, status definitions and ownership before creating many separate workspaces.
A buyer comparing editions should check which views the team actually needs. The current help guide specifically places Gantt View in Kantree Cloud Business; Team users should not assume it is included because timeline and Gantt appear together in broad feature navigation.
The work it supports
Core capabilities
Configure document-like cards with the data relevant to the project and show them in different views. Kanban boards can have custom columns, subcolumns and progression rules. Test one real process, including an exception or blocked item, so the board reflects how work actually moves.
Timeline view places cards and groups against dates, while Gantt View adds a more detailed planning option on Cloud Business. Build a small dependency-heavy project and check which dates, milestones and views the chosen edition exposes.
Forms can collect incoming requests into a workflow, and configurable automations can act on the work as it changes. Define the trigger, owner and failure path for one repeated handoff before automating it broadly.
A portfolio view can compare status, progress and other metrics across projects. Use a consistent definition of completion and risk in each source project; otherwise a neat portfolio display may hide different underlying rules.

Pricing and getting started
The current pricing page displays Cloud Team at 8€ and Cloud Business at 15€ per user per month; Team is described for 2 to 50 people. Enterprise uses contact sales and offers on-premise or private-cloud options. Confirm the page's billing selector, VAT, seat count and hosting terms before using the displayed figures as a budget.
The trial lasts 15 days from creation of the first organization. The pricing FAQ says an account without a card is held when the trial ends. It also describes a canceled paid organization as active until the billing period ends, then held with a one-month reactivation window before deletion. Export and retention needs should be checked before either deadline.
Look a little closer
Before you choose
Pilot one project from intake to completion: submit a form, create or update a card, move it across Kanban stages, view it on a timeline and trigger one automation. If reporting across teams matters, include two projects in the portfolio test and reconcile the same status metrics.
Ask the vendor to confirm the exact edition for Gantt, portfolio, automation and private hosting. Plan for editable seats, VAT and the trial clock, and check how to retrieve data if the organization goes on hold or is canceled.
