Find your fit
Who it is for
It is aimed at recruitment agencies and staffing firms, with an in-house talent acquisition option on the pricing page. It is most relevant when a team needs both a candidate relationship database and a process for each live vacancy. A buyer should map its permanent versus temporary hiring volume and the people who need access before seeking a quote.
The CRM and ATS serve different moments: talent pools hold potential candidates for future work, while application records follow a person through a particular job. Teams moving from spreadsheets should test how records, duplicate applicants, permissions and historical notes are represented in a small fictional pilot.
The work it supports
Core capabilities
Agency business development can start with an opportunity record. JobAdder describes configurable stages, follow-up tasks and converting an opportunity into a job while carrying relevant information forward. Define who owns the lead, which fields must be complete and when it becomes a real requisition.
The CRM groups clients, candidates, jobs and talent pools. Recruiters can filter candidates by skills and ratings and mark people as preferred or excluded. A team should agree on tagging rules and review stale profiles before using the pool for a new search.
For an open job, a recruiter can preview an ad and post to selected job boards. JobAdder says incoming applicants can return to the ATS with source tagging. Check which boards are relevant to the buyer’s region, whether each needs a separate account or paid inventory, and whether source attribution survives a sample application.
The ATS keeps applications, candidate activity and stage progress together. The applicant dashboard supports notes, messages and status changes. This is the operational view for screening and moving a person through a particular vacancy, rather than a guarantee that the person is suitable.
Interview coordination and hiring-manager feedback can sit with the application: JobAdder describes scorecards and candidate submissions. In a fictional trial, test who can see a submitted profile and feedback, and whether an agency can preserve a clear decision trail.
Recruiters can review and progress or reject applications from the mobile app. Test the actual device and permission setup for the actions field staff need; the public page does not prove offline behavior or identical desktop and mobile controls.
When a candidate is ready, Placement Management can keep placement details, approvals, communications and e-signatures together. A team should confirm who has permission to finalise a placement and which documents are part of its own process.
Compliance settings can require documents and notes, flag eligibility and remind users about expiry dates. These checks depend on the rules and records the organisation configures; they do not replace human review of legal or role-specific requirements.
For temporary and contract desks, JobAdder describes views of working temps, placement extensions and temp-to-perm conversion. Trace a fictional worker from initial placement through extension to confirm dates, approvals and downstream records remain consistent.
JobAdder describes sending placement information to connected payroll, billing, onboarding and HR systems. The buyer should verify the particular connector, data fields, error handling and any separate partner cost before relying on a handoff.
Recruitment Operations can report on jobs, ads, applications, candidates and placements, with activity and stage-timing views. Admin tools cover user access, groups and templates. Before rollout, define which reports managers need and restrict sensitive candidate records by role.

Pricing and getting started
JobAdder publishes a request-pricing process and says it creates a tailored proposal after discussing the business and demonstrating the platform. There is no dependable universal public rate on the viewed page; obtain a written quote for the required seats, region, term and workflows.
The page presents agency Recruiter Lite, Essential and Pro cards, plus an in-house Business card. It also contains a second agency card set with 1–5, 6–20 and 21+ user labels and partially different descriptions. Treat the exact current plan name, seat range, included automations, reporting, API and support as quote items.
The page separately labels dedicated IP, API plus sandbox, single sign-on, Broadbean, smart forms and Hiring Manager Portal as add-ons. It says API plus sandbox is for contracted customers, free for Pro and unavailable on Lite. Ask which components and job-board or partner charges are included in the actual proposal.

Before you choose
A useful evaluation uses fictional client, candidate and job records: turn a lead into a job, publish to a relevant test channel, receive an application, collect feedback, then create a placement. Check roles and permissions at each step and compare the resulting reports and integration handoffs with existing processes.
For a temporary-placement agency, pay special attention to prerequisite documents, expiry reminders, extensions and payroll handoff. Ask the vendor which compliance controls are available in the quoted region and plan, and retain a human decision for every real placement.
