Who it is for
Security and IT teams responsible for employee phishing readiness can use simulated messages to create repeated reporting practice. Plan the mail integration, reporting button and employee communications before rollout.
Organizations that also need policy or compliance education can add awareness modules, quizzes and courses. An administrator can adapt content to roles and existing materials, then review it before assigning lessons.
The work it supports
Core capabilities
Deliver phishing simulations over time instead of running one fixed test. The vendor describes scenarios and difficulty adapting to each learner’s behavior and role; the support guide also describes an initial standardized training stage before personalization.
Employees report a training email using the Hoxhunt button. The report opens a short learning moment tied to that simulation, which gives immediate context for what the employee noticed or missed.
Hoxhunt says its reporting button can be deployed in Outlook and Gmail with Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace. Confirm the tenant configuration, supported client versions and mail-flow requirements during scoping.
The vendor also describes SMS, voice, collaboration-message and deepfake simulations. Treat these as optional scope to confirm in the offered license, not as proof that every deployment has all channels.
Build awareness learning paths with short video or text lessons, interactive modules and quizzes. Role and team targeting helps make training relevant to different jobs; review the included content and languages for your workforce.
Use Content Studio to browse and adapt training content, then publish the reviewed lesson. Courses may be delivered through Hoxhunt, an LMS or a direct URL, subject to the selected integration and entitlement.
Inspect the administrator dashboard for training activity and areas needing attention. Establish a baseline and read the metrics in context; a vendor dashboard alone does not prove reduced real-world phishing incidents.

Pricing and getting started
Hoxhunt’s official pricing page says pricing is per employee. The vendor scopes the number of employees and needed capabilities before giving a quote, so request a written seat count, term, selected modules and total price.
User licenses control access to product modules, and the support guide distinguishes lighter and fuller phishing simulation cadence. Ask which employees receive which license, how reassignment works and whether optional channels or reporting analytics are included.
The vendor describes implementation help for integrations, technical setup and employee rollout. Confirm the services and support covered by the quote before scheduling a launch.

Before you choose
Run a controlled pilot with an agreed employee group and clear internal policy. Verify the button in the actual mail clients, the simulation schedule, the employee feedback screen and any approval needed for additional channels.
Use program data to identify training gaps while avoiding simple pass/fail judgments about individual employees. Hoxhunt itself frames the learning as positive coaching; local policies should define how results are shared and retained.
Check the license matrix before buying: phishing cadence, awareness modules, LMS delivery, optional channels, dashboards and implementation can affect the scope. Ask the vendor to demonstrate these in the quoted package.
