HelpCrunch

What it does

HelpCrunch puts customer conversations from website chat, support email and connected messaging channels in one shared inbox. Agents can answer and organize those conversations while a separate knowledge base gives customers a self-service route to common answers.

Who it is for

A small support team that currently switches between website chat and an email mailbox can use HelpCrunch to keep replies in one conversation. The vendor calls this a “chat as a ticket” workflow rather than a separate email-ticket module.

A growing team can divide incoming work using departments, custom filtered inboxes and assignment options. A team with repeat questions can publish knowledge-base articles, then decide whether to connect those articles to its chat widget or AI Agent.

Pricing and getting started

HelpCrunch currently offers a 14-day trial without a credit card. The subscription guide says email features must be enabled through support for trial testing, so confirm trial access to every channel you intend to evaluate.

Paid subscriptions list Basic, Pro and Unlimited choices with monthly or annual billing. The selected team size and email volume affect the total, and annual subscriptions are paid upfront. Confirm the live pricing page and checkout for your region, limits and add-ons before budgeting.

Before you choose

Email continuity. HelpCrunch handles email as a conversation in the same inbox as live chat, and an agent can follow up by email from a chat thread. Test forwarding, reply addresses and thread matching with your own mailbox before switching a support address.

Routing. Custom inboxes can filter by status, assignee, tag, department and widget or app. Department chat distribution can be manual, round robin or last-assigned. Try a real escalation path to confirm ownership and visibility.

Self-service. Knowledge-base articles can be organized and shown in the widget. HelpCrunch AI Agents can use selected Knowledge Base material and custom answers; review the source content and test escalation before putting AI in front of customers.

Usage. Email-volume selection includes manual inbox replies, campaign emails and unread chat messages resent by email. Estimate each source of email usage, and confirm the current plan limits and total in checkout.

Research scope. This profile uses current official public pages. No HelpCrunch account, channel delivery, assignment behavior, AI answer, trial signup or billing checkout was tested.

Widget setup. The HelpCrunch widget gives website visitors a chat entry point. Test placement, availability hours and how an offline visitor receives follow-up before relying on it as a support channel.
