Who it is for

A single-location business can use a repeatable email or SMS review-request workflow and assign someone to watch incoming feedback. Choose when to send a request, which contacts may be messaged and who is responsible for replies before connecting customer data.

Multi-location teams and agencies can compare location-level reporting and the agency white-label offer. GatherUp publishes a 2–10 location price and asks agencies to request a quote; confirm access, branding and reporting scope for the actual number of locations.

The work it supports

Core capabilities

Review requests. GatherUp describes automatic email requests. Check the contact source, consent and follow-up settings before automating customer outreach.

Review monitoring. GatherUp says it monitors over 100 review sites so a team can follow feedback across destinations. Confirm that the specific sites and locations important to your business are covered.

Location reporting. The Performance Report summarizes NPS metrics, survey questions, reviews and requests for one location; the vendor says a weekly or monthly copy can be sent. Ask for a sample report and check how cross-location comparison works.

Pricing and getting started

Published monthly prices. GatherUp currently displays $99 per month for one Small Business location and $60 per month per location for the 2–10 location band. The captured price block does not label a currency; confirm currency, taxes and any higher-volume quote before buying. The site also offers an annual subscription choice.

Trial and activation. A 14-day free trial is advertised. The FAQ says a payment card activates the account after the trial and then a recurring monthly charge begins. It specifically excludes SMS marketing and the Web-to-Text Widget from trial use; check the current signup screen for the chosen plan.

Plan scope and extras. The pricing page lists messaging credits, monitoring, surveys, reporting, AI replies, widgets and integrations across plans. Listings Hub is separately priced at $40 per month per location, and agencies are directed to a quote. Confirm allowances, add-ons and annual commitment in writing.

Cancellation. GatherUp’s FAQ says monthly accounts can be cancelled at any time without a termination fee. Because the pricing page also offers annual subscriptions, check the selected billing term and cancellation terms rather than assuming the monthly FAQ covers an annual order.

Look a little closer

Before you choose

A CRM or POS can feed customer contacts into GatherUp for feedback requests. Verify the exact integration, field mapping, timing and contact permission in a demonstration; the public pricing page does not establish that every system has the same setup.

SmartReply drafts a response that the vendor says is editable. Decide who reviews public replies and test whether the tone fits your business before using an automated response mode.

The Review Widget can place selected first- and third-party reviews on a website, while social sharing turns selected reviews into graphics for named platforms. Check which sources may be displayed and who chooses the reviews; these features do not prove a search-ranking or conversion outcome.

The public pages list many functions, but hands-on behavior, data export, role controls and regional messaging rules were not tested. Ask for a focused demo around one location and one complete request-to-review path before a wider rollout.
