Find your fit
Who it is for
A small physical shop can use Erply for register sales, product lookup, email receipts and basic reports. The entry plan has one user and one terminal, excludes back-office access and states a turnover ceiling, so a growing shop should verify those limits early.
A retailer with several locations can consider the multi-store controls for location-specific price lists, promotions and permissions. The Multichannel plan lists inventory back-end and purchasing tools; confirm the exact store and warehouse setup in a quote.
A store that must keep trading through occasional connection loss can test Erply’s offline POS mode. Set it up before an outage and rehearse how cached sales synchronize after reconnection.
The work it supports
Core capabilities
Checkout and devices. Erply POS supports retail transactions across desktops, laptops, tablets and purpose-built registers. Match the supported hardware, receipts, tax setup and chosen payment processor to the store’s actual counter workflow.
Stock and price lookup. At the register, search by product name or item code to view price and quantity. Test a product carried at several stores so employees see the correct location’s availability.
Customer and promotion tools. Staff can gather customer information, apply promotions and use rewards functions during a sale. Confirm which data a cashier may view or change and whether the chosen plan includes the desired program.
Returns. The vendor describes partial and full returns, including no-receipt cases and refunds to original tender, gift card, store credit or cash. Test policy permissions and reconciliation for each return route you allow.
Sales synchronization. POS sales data connects to the Erply account’s inventory, books and reports. For multi-store stock, verify the timing and location of updates with a representative sale and return.
Offline mode. Supported POS work can continue without internet using locally cached data and later sync to the back office. Enable this before an outage, preserve browser cache and device time, and test reconnect behavior.

Pricing and getting started
The current Giftshop & Grocery plan lists one user, one POS terminal, basic reports and CRM, with no back-office access. It also states a $25,000 monthly net-sales turnover ceiling. Check the applicable market and whether the ceiling fits expected sales.
The Multichannel chains tier lists two users, one warehouse licence, a real-time inventory back-end and purchasing/receiving functions. The pricing page also has monthly and annual selectors, so confirm the actual currency, billing period, number of stores, terminal count and support level before buying.
Payments use a chosen processing provider. Ask Erply and the processor which terminals and markets are supported and what transaction, hardware and setup charges apply; these were not established by the public plan display.
Look a little closer
Before you choose
Walk through one representative purchase and return before a store rollout: confirm item lookup, tax and promotion behavior, receipt, tender, inventory change and reporting. The public pages describe these functions, but no store account or real payment was operated for this listing.
Do not assume the entry POS plan includes the same back-office, warehouse or multi-store controls as higher retail-chain plans. The published plan table separates those capabilities and sets user, terminal and turnover limits.
For offline continuity, configure offline mode before the network fails, keep the local cache intact and reconcile any queued sales after reconnection. Test on the actual browser and register hardware before relying on it during a busy shift.
