Documenso

What it does

Documenso helps a sender prepare a PDF, add recipients and fields, and route it for electronic signature. A typical flow moves from a private draft to a sent document, then to a completed signed copy with an audit log. Reusable templates help when the same agreement is sent repeatedly.

Who it is for

It suits a team that sends repeatable agreements, onboarding forms or other PDFs for signature. A sender uploads the document, assigns recipient roles and places signature fields before sending; Documenso requires a signature field for each signer.

For a recurring document, a template can save the PDF, recipient roles, field locations and settings. The sender then creates a new document from that setup rather than rebuilding the layout for each request.

When signers must act in a particular order, sequential signing notifies the first position and then the next group after earlier actions complete. While a request is pending, the owner can inspect progress and resend notifications.

Look a little closer

Before you choose

Test a full agreement with dummy content: prepare the PDF, assign two signers and fields, choose sequential routing, send it, and confirm each recipient receives the request only when expected. Check the completed PDF and audit log.

If you will use templates, test whether field positions still align with real contract variants. For live use, review recipient authentication and the legal or compliance requirements of your jurisdiction with the appropriate adviser; this research did not validate signature enforceability.
