DealHub

What it does

DealHub CPQ helps a sales team turn a configured offer into a governed quote. The team selects products or bundles, applies the relevant pricebook and discount rules, routes exceptions to approvers and prepares the buyer-facing offer. DealHub also sells a wider quote-to-revenue platform; the buyer should define which contract, subscription, billing and AI components belong in the actual order.

Who it is for

It fits a B2B sales organization with configurable products, several pricing models or approval steps that are hard to control in spreadsheets. Revenue operations can maintain the catalog and rules while sellers follow a guided quote path. A simple fixed-price proposal process may not need this depth.

Teams quoting new business and later renewals or amendments can use the same CPQ model, while partner channels can receive controlled quoting paths. Check whether the product catalog, CRM and commercial policy are ready to be modeled before migration.

The work it supports

Core capabilities

Guided quote configuration uses structured products and filters to narrow an offer. A useful pilot is one routine package plus one incompatible or conditional option, checking whether the seller is prompted to choose a valid configuration.

The adaptive pricebook supports fixed, tiered and usage-based structures. Test a real pricing edge case, such as a usage tier or renewal term, and inspect the line items rather than assuming a single price rule covers every contract.

Bundles and dynamic discounts can form a customer offer. Approval-aligned pricing rules and parallel workflows then route exceptions to reviewers. Decide which discounts need finance, legal or deal-desk review before users start producing live quotes.

Version-controlled order forms and detailed line items help the team see what changed between revisions. The Deal Desk Dashboard describes visibility into quote progress and approval status; compare a revised offer with its prior version before sending it.

DealHub describes quoting for new deals, renewals, co-terms, expansions and amendments, plus controlled partner-channel offers. Test the flows that matter to the business separately; a renewal with a changed term is a different case from a first-sale quote.

The CPQ page names Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics 365 and HubSpot integrations, with other CRM connections through its API. Verify which opportunity, product, price and quote fields travel in each direction, and which connector rights are in the contract.

An approved offer can be presented in a branded DealRoom alongside proposals, contracts and shared content. The buyer room also describes chat, action plans and engagement alerts. Decide who may see or edit each document, and check activity tracking settings before inviting buyers.

Headless API quoting is described for self-service, ecommerce, partner and customer applications. The current pricing matrix marks it as an add-on, so it should be scoped as a separate integration project rather than assumed in a standard seller workflow.

Understand the offer

Pricing and getting started

DealHub does not publish a universal list price on the viewed official page and asks buyers to request a quote. The current material distinguishes Growth for governed revenue execution and Scale for advanced billing control, with CPQ described in both. Ask for the exact plan, seats, term, implementation and support scope in writing.

The broader platform includes contract, subscription and billing tools, but a CPQ purchase does not settle every module right. The current matrix marks Headless API-Quoting as an add-on, and the CPQ FAQ says some third-party integrations, including DocuSign and ERP connectors, may add cost. Confirm each desired component on the order form.

Ask DealHub to price the same catalog size, pricing models, approval roles, connectors and optional buyer-room or API scope in each proposal. Include migration, configuration and training work alongside the recurring subscription in the written quote.

Look a little closer

Before you choose

Before replacing the current quote process, model one normal deal, one discount exception and one renewal using fictional data. Compare the output line items, required approvals and resulting quote versions with the company’s written policy.

For CRM and buyer handoff, verify the exact sync fields, quote-to-opportunity link, DealRoom permissions and any optional connector charges. Keep test material fictional until access and tracking settings are approved.

If the goal includes invoicing, subscription amendments or AI-assisted quote creation, request a separate written demonstration and entitlement list. The platform markets these alongside CPQ, but availability, governance and downstream behavior depend on the purchased scope and configuration.
