Who it is for
Dart suits a small team that wants its project plan and execution records in the same workspace. Each project or team can use a space with its own dartboards and document folders, while task owners work through statuses and comments.
Teams evaluating AI assistance should distinguish suggested content from actions that alter assignments or dates. Dart documents both built-in planning and agents, but the appropriate access and review process depends on the team’s work.
The work it supports
Core capabilities
Start with a space for a team or project, then put related work into one or more dartboards. Tasks sit inside a board and can be split into assigned subtasks; document folders keep the project’s reference material in the space.
A task can carry its status, assignee, priority, tags, description, attachments, activity and comments. For a real rollout, agree on which fields are required so that handoffs remain readable across teammates.
The same dartboard can be viewed as a list, board, calendar or roadmap. A team can inspect open work and completion summaries without moving tasks between separate products; choose a layout that makes dates and ownership clear.
Space access controls who can see a dartboard by default. On Business, a team can make a filtered view public for outside stakeholders; review the source board and view filter before exposing project work.
Premium and higher include AI planning. When run on a dartboard, the documented default skill can assign or reassign teammates and set start and due dates for tasks. Review its changes on a fictional board before applying it to active work.
Dart also supports built-in and custom agents for project-management tasks and external agents for specialized work. Check the trigger, connected service and data sent to it before assigning a real task to an agent.
If Dart was already open before a connection drops, previously loaded tasks can be edited or moved and synced when the connection returns. This is a limited continuity aid, not a way to load an entire workspace offline.
Dartboard summaries can show task counts, incomplete work and progress by task size. Compare the resulting summary with a small fictional board to ensure the team interprets closed tasks and point totals as intended.

Pricing and getting started
The current pricing page shows Personal at $0 for up to four teammates with unlimited tasks and docs. Premium adds unlimited teammates and features such as AI chat, planning, custom properties and forms; Business adds SSO/SCIM, public views, analytics and finer access controls. Confirm the exact rights for the chosen plan before rollout.
The page has monthly and yearly selectors and displays per-teammate prices. Its captured yearly display shows Premium $8 and Business $12 per teammate per month. Confirm currency, billing term, taxes and the payable total in the selected checkout.
The billing guide says teammate or plan changes can create prorated credits and charges on a later invoice. Premium and Business also have a guest allowance and billable overflow. Model the likely member and guest counts before inviting a large outside group.

Before you choose
Try one fictional project from space to dartboard to task and subtask. Verify access for a private versus shared space, attachments, comments and the layout the team will use each week.
Run AI planning only on fictional work at first. The default skill can update all tasks on a board, including assignees and dates; inspect the before-and-after state and decide who may trigger it on production projects.
Check offline behavior with a previously loaded sample board. The help center says AI and unloaded work are unavailable, docs are read-only and teammate changes do not converge until reconnection; plan an online review step after an offline session.
For pricing and collaboration, choose the actual monthly or yearly term, member count, guest count and Business-only public-view need. Account for prorated seat changes rather than treating the displayed per-person rate as the only cost.
