Clientjoy

What it does

Clientjoy brings a service business’s prospect-to-payment work into one CRM. A web form can create a lead, the team can move the opportunity through its own pipeline stages, send a proposal for electronic signature, and then share invoices and files through a client portal. It suits work where the same small team handles both sales and ongoing client administration.

Find your fit

Who it is for

The product is aimed at freelancers, consultants, agencies and other small service teams that want fewer handoffs between lead capture, sales and billing. A useful evaluation follows one fictional prospect through form submission, stage change, proposal and invoice without involving a real customer.

Count the people on your own team who need to log in. Client portal users are not billed as team seats, which matters for a business with many clients but only a few staff.

The work it supports

Core capabilities

Build a web form without code, customize its fields and thank-you message, then use a public link or embed it on a site. Test the form on a real page layout with fictional details before collecting live prospect information.

A form submission can create a pipeline lead and assign tags, an owner and follow-up activities. Check how duplicate submissions and ownership are handled in the actual workspace before relying on automatic routing.

Customize pipeline stages to match the team’s sales process. Stage filters, reports and bulk actions help locate work that needs follow-up, while recorded deal amounts can show opportunity value by stage.

Add custom lead fields when standard contact details are insufficient. Decide which fields are genuinely useful for search, filtering and reports so the pipeline stays manageable.

Create a proposal from a template, fill repeated details with merge fields and include the electronic signature module. Test the recipient view and signed-document retrieval with fictional material before adopting it for contracts.

Document tracking can notify the team when a proposal email is opened, viewed or signed. Treat these as product activity signals rather than guaranteed attention or legal proof of acceptance.

Create one-time, split or recurring invoices with pay-now buttons, currency and tax-rate fields. Check the invoice numbering, tax setup and client-facing total against the business’s own accounting needs.

Configure invoice reminder emails once for a schedule and inspect invoice activity in the dashboard. Review message timing and status with a fictional invoice before enabling reminders for real clients.

Connect a supported payment account such as Stripe or PayPal for online invoice payment; the vendor also lists Payoneer, Razorpay and Instamojo. Stripe Auto pay is described for recurring subscriptions. Confirm the chosen provider’s market support, fees and authorization flow separately.

The password-protected portal gives a client one place to view files, documents and invoices. A custom subdomain, CSS and embedded report or scheduler widgets can make it fit an existing client workflow; check what each invited client can actually see.

Web-form reports show views, submissions and conversion rate. Use them to spot form friction, while keeping the difference between submitted forms and qualified sales opportunities clear.

Pricing and getting started

The public pricing page currently presents one feature plan. Its FAQ lists $19 USD per team user monthly, or $199 USD per team user per year with annual billing; sales tax may apply. Confirm the current checkout total and billing term before subscribing.

The plan advertises unlimited email sequences, but displays a 1,000-email monthly allowance and 5 GB of file storage per workspace. Estimate sending and file volume for the whole team rather than reading “unlimited” as unlimited delivery or storage.

The full-product trial lasts 14 days. Clientjoy says it emails a reminder three days before expiry and starts the selected monthly or yearly paid plan automatically unless cancelled. Record the trial end date and selected term before signup.

The FAQ says a workspace can change monthly versus yearly billing and cancel in its settings, retaining access through a paid period. Client portal access does not add a paid client seat; budget for staff users separately from clients.

Look a little closer

Before you choose

Walk through the entire handoff with fictional data: embedded form, new lead, owner, stage, proposal, invoice and portal view. This reveals permission and field-mapping gaps before the team relies on the pipeline.

Separate invoice creation and a displayed payment status from actual money movement. Confirm a connected gateway, regional availability, processing fees, recurring-payment consent and the reconciliation path in the chosen provider.

Check the shared 1,000-email and 5 GB allowances against expected sequences, attachments and client files. A small team can still reach workspace limits even when its seat count is low.

Before inviting clients, check portal access for each company and whether embedded reports, links or scripts reveal material intended for someone else. Use fictional client accounts for that review.

The trial becomes paid automatically unless cancelled. Confirm the selected billing interval and cancellation date in the workspace rather than relying only on the reminder email.
