Find your fit
Who it is for
It is aimed at solo operators and small service teams that sell appointments or visits: a consultant, tutor, stylist or local service provider can publish a service menu and let clients request a time without back-and-forth messages. The useful starting point is a repeatable appointment with a known duration, price or estimate process.
The primary category is Appointment Scheduling. Calday includes payment and client-record tools, but the supported central workflow is setting available times and moving a client booking into the calendar. A buyer needing technician dispatch, route optimization or project accounting should test those separate needs directly rather than assume them from service-business marketing.
The work it supports
Core capabilities
A public booking link shows services and available times. The service menu can describe duration, price and add-ons so the client chooses the right appointment. A business can place that link where it already receives inquiries, then check how the booking page looks on a phone before sharing it widely.
Availability rules can include breaks or buffer time between visits, a daily booking limit, booking windows and minimum notice. Connected calendar events can block a busy slot. For a mobile service, a buffer may represent travel time; test several adjacent bookings to ensure the visible options match the actual working day.
Calday describes Google, Outlook and iCloud connections. It reads existing personal events to block time and writes confirmed bookings to the connected calendar. Verify the direction and timing of sync with the calendar your team really uses, particularly when multiple calendars or shared team schedules are involved.
The calendar view can attach the client, service, price and payment status to an appointment. A client-facing appointment link can support rescheduling or cancellation. For work that requires a location or preparation, check what a staff member sees in the event before the visit and what the client can change after booking.
The vendor describes an automatic confirmation at booking and reminder emails one day and one hour before an appointment. Reminder text can be edited for future sends, including practical arrival or cancellation instructions. Test the timing, time zone and sender presentation with a sample booking before treating reminders as a substitute for your own policies.
A new booking creates a client record, and later appointments can add history and notes. Custom questions can collect details before a visit. Decide which details are genuinely needed and who should be allowed to see them before designing a form around client information.
A business using Stripe can configure a fixed or percentage deposit or full payment in the booking flow. Calday also describes payment links and visible payment status on events. Test a booking and cancellation with a non-sensitive sample before relying on a payment status as evidence of a completed payout.

Pricing and getting started
The current pricing page offers Free with one service, up to 100 clients, one integration and a booking page. Its comparison table also includes confirmation emails and appointment reminders in Free. That can be enough to pilot a single appointment type, but check which booking-page controls and calendar connection are included for the exact account.
Pro is displayed at $12 per month on the current monthly pricing view and adds unlimited services and clients, payment collection and add-ons. The comparison also places custom questions, approvals, Stripe connection and payment links in Pro. Confirm currency, tax, billing term and current entitlement in checkout or a vendor quote before budgeting.
Calday says it does not add a transaction cut, while standard Stripe processing fees still apply. If deposits are central to the workflow, compare the total cost of the plan and payment processing and test a cancellation/refund case under the business’s own policy.
Look a little closer
Before you choose
A useful evaluation is to create one representative service, set the hours and a buffer, connect the actual calendar, make a sample booking, then inspect the confirmation, reminders, appointment record and client record. Try a cancellation or reschedule as well. This tests the full handoff from public link to calendar without assuming every advertised control is on the Free tier.
Before rollout, confirm whether the selected tier includes approval, custom questions, multiple services, Stripe payments and the number of calendar or video integrations needed. The public product pages describe these broadly, while the pricing comparison restricts several to Pro. Keep sensitive client intake information out of a casual trial and decide who may access stored notes.
