Find your fit
Who it is for
A small team juggling recurring meetings and project tasks can assign work to days, inspect each person’s estimated workload, and move lower-priority items to the waiting list. Start with one real week to see whether estimates and event time match how the team actually works.
A project lead working across several projects can group work into folders, invite collaborators, and use Calendar or Kanban views to check scheduled and completed tasks. Verify guest rights with a harmless project before sharing client material.
An individual can use the Personal Workspace for private planning, but the advertised Free offer is limited to personal, non-commercial use. A business team should evaluate Organization pricing and permissions for its intended members.
The work it supports
Core capabilities
Put tasks and ideas in the waiting list until they are ready to schedule. Move an item onto a particular day rather than treating its due date as the work plan; the planner then shows that work beside events and meetings.
Create projects, group them in folders, add team members and place tasks or events inside each project. Bordio also advertises project guests for clients or freelancers; check exactly what they can see and edit before inviting them.
Use estimated task time and scheduled events to inspect daily workload across members. This is useful for reallocating a crowded day, but the displayed total depends on realistic estimates and a complete calendar.
Switch between Calendar and Kanban to review tasks, with completed cards turning grey. Teams can rename or add statuses to reflect their workflow; agree on what each status means before using the board as a progress report.
For longer work, break a task into scheduled time blocks and keep a separate due date. A pilot should check what happens if a block slips or remains incomplete when the task is marked done.
Set recurring tasks or meetings for regular work. Bordio also advertises Google Calendar integration; verify sync direction, edit handling and duplicate events with a low-risk calendar before relying on it.
A task timer can log elapsed work, while attachments and notes keep supporting material with the item. Check who can view a file and whether timer records meet any reporting requirement before using either for sensitive or billable work.
Bordio advertises mobile task management, allowing people to review and update assigned work away from the desktop. Check the specific device and offline expectations in a trial.

Pricing and getting started
The Free card lists $0, ten personal projects and 500 MB of storage, and explicitly limits use to personal, non-commercial work. It should not be budgeted as a free organization plan.
Organization is the team offer, with per-user pricing and listed unlimited projects, teams and storage, plus roles, reports and custom fields. The viewed page offers monthly and annual choices and promotes a first-year rate, but its static content did not expose a reliable numeric team price. Ask for the amount, currency, renewal rate and seat count in writing.
The pricing page offers an organization trial but disagrees with itself on duration: the plan card says 14 days and its FAQ says seven. Confirm the actual end date before inviting a team; check how added or removed seats and applicable VAT will appear on the invoice.
Look a little closer
Before you choose
Trial the core workflow with a small set of genuine but nonsensitive tasks: leave one in the waiting list, schedule another around a meeting, split a longer task into blocks, and then compare Calendar and Kanban progress. This reveals whether the planning model fits the team’s daily routine.
Before connecting a shared calendar or inviting guests, test the intended access boundary. Confirm event edits and duplicates, the project scope visible to guests, and attachment permissions with harmless sample content.
For a business purchase, compare the Organization quote with the actual number of members, first-year and renewal rates, trial expiry and tax treatment. Keep the conflicting published trial lengths in mind until Bordio confirms which applies.
