Who it is for
Teams that routinely ask customers for feedback can begin with manual text or email requests. Birdeye also documents bulk campaigns and automation through supported customer systems, SFTP and API paths. Which route makes sense depends on how the business stores customer contacts and when it has permission to send a request.
Multi-location organizations can use a shared view of review activity while routing response work across locations. A single-location buyer should compare the actual modules, users and support in its quote instead of assuming the broad enterprise presentation applies to its offer.

Core capabilities
Review invitations. Birdeye documents an agent that sends templated review requests to checked-in contacts. Staff can also send individual text or email invitations from the dashboard; bulk campaigns and automated customer-system, SFTP and API paths require their own setup. Confirm the available sending routes and contact permissions for the proposed plan.
Review monitoring and reports. Birdeye says its unified dashboard collects reviews from many sites, with tagging and assignment options. Review Reports analyze performance, response behavior, sentiment and employee activity. The advertised monitoring reach does not mean every site supports direct replies from Birdeye.
Multi-location access. Birdeye account help describes adding users with enterprise access across locations or location-level access to selected locations. Confirm the roles, number of locations and user allowances in the written quote.

Pricing and getting started
Quoted pricing. Birdeye asks for business contact details and number of locations to supply pricing. Its public pricing page does not show a dependable monthly amount or a complete plan table. Ask for a written quote naming the review, listing and AI modules, location count, message limits, onboarding and any add-ons.
Reviews AI trial. Birdeye advertises a 30-day trial without a payment card for Reviews AI. Treat that as a trial for the named review product, not a permanent free plan or proof that every module is available during the trial.
Renewal terms need attention. The public terms say that, unless an order form or statement of work changes the arrangement, a service agreement renews for a period matching its initial term and written non-renewal notice is due at least 90 days before renewal. Obtain the actual order document before committing.
The public terms describe an 8% Innovation Fee on recurring service fees at renewal, except for certain agreements signed before April 1, 2024 or contracts that specifically change the fee. Ask how that clause would apply to the proposed order and future invoices.

Before you choose
Reply routes differ by source. With connected Google or Facebook accounts, staff can post a response from Birdeye. For a non-integrated site, Birdeye documents copying a template and visiting that site to post it. Check the destinations that matter to your business.
Site coverage differs by action. A destination may appear in monitored reviews but still require staff to use that site to reply. Check monitoring, invitation and reply support separately for the locations and platforms you use.
AI response controls need checking. Birdeye documents a response agent that can hold an AI draft for human approval before posting. Its help article limits AI-suggested review responses to US-based locations or businesses. Confirm the response mode and country availability in the proposed package, and review sensitive replies.
Listings AI is a related product area for location-profile corrections. Confirm whether it is included in the proposed commercial package rather than assuming it comes with review management.
