Billdu

What it does

Billdu Invoice Maker helps a small business prepare quotes or estimates, convert accepted work into an invoice, and collect or record payment against that invoice. It is one part of Billdu’s broader app family; this profile focuses on invoicing rather than the separate booking or inventory products.

Who it is for

A freelancer or service business can create a quote before work, then convert an accepted quote into an invoice without retyping the document. Billdu treats a quote as a fixed price commitment and an estimate as an approximation, so choose the right document for the agreement.

Invoices can start from a blank document or from an existing estimate or quote. Send a representative invoice and inspect the client-facing details before relying on it for a real billing cycle.

For online card payments, the business connects its own Stripe account. Billdu says Stripe processes those card payments; a client invoice link can offer direct payment only when Stripe is connected and enabled.

An offline payment can be recorded against an invoice, including a partial payment. This is distinct from processor settlement: test how a bank transfer or cash receipt changes invoice status and remaining balance.

Pricing and getting started

Billdu offers a seven-day trial. Current help says no payment is required to start, the trial ends automatically, and a ten-email-per-day sending limit applies during the trial. This is a temporary trial, not an ongoing Free plan.

Invoice Maker has Lite, Standard and Premium subscriptions. Current official plan help places unlimited estimates and quotes on Standard and Premium, while Lite focuses on invoices. Each business needs its own subscription, with monthly or annual billing choices.

If the trial ends without subscription, Billdu says the account remains in a limited state with data view/export access. Check the chosen plan and subscription terms before buying; no checkout was tested.

Before you choose

A quote or estimate cannot take a direct payment and has no Pay Now button. Convert accepted work to an invoice before collecting invoice payment. Confirm the chosen plan includes quotes if that step matters to your workflow.

The marketing page mentions PayPal, while current detailed payment help documents Stripe. Verify the actual processor and available payment methods in the intended country and account before promising a client a particular checkout option.

No account, quote, invoice, payment link, offline payment entry, processor connection, purchase or checkout was tested. This profile uses current public official pages and should be checked against the chosen plan in a short trial.
