Find your fit
Who it is for
A newsletter publisher can use a website form to collect subscribers, draft in the block editor and keep recurring emails visually consistent with a theme. Start with a fictional signup and preview the complete email before connecting a real list.
A business with several topics can create saved segments or separate publications so people receive the subjects they chose. Publication consent is per contact and topic; check whether the chosen plan includes the required publication setup.
A small marketing team moving from another platform can import a consented CSV, authenticate its sending domain and gradually test a first campaign. Stored contact count, sender-domain rights and actual send limits should be checked before migration.
The work it supports
Core capabilities
Build embedded, popup or custom website forms to collect addresses. The forms can track submissions, apply tags and support double opt-in; inspect the actual signup path and consent wording on the site before promoting it.
Bring an existing permitted list in through CSV, then use contact tags, custom fields, source, dates and engagement conditions to make saved audience segments. A saved segment can later target a send without maintaining disconnected lists.
For several newsletters or content topics, publications give each person independent subscription choices. The hosted preference page can let subscribers adjust those choices, including opting out of one topic while staying subscribed to another.
Draft an email in the block editor and apply a reusable theme for regular styling. This favors writing a message first, then using the publisher to choose the audience and send task.
The publisher supports a bulk send to everyone or a saved segment, with exclusions and scheduling. Preview the audience and suppression choices with fictional data before sending to real subscribers; only active contacts are sent.
Automations can connect a trigger to a multistep email sequence, such as a welcome flow or an event-driven follow-up. Check which trigger, integration and number of active flows the selected plan actually allows.
Each send report summarizes deliveries, opens, clicks, unsubscribes, complaints and bounces. Use clicks, bounces and opt-outs together when judging a campaign; an open does not prove a person read the email.
To send from the organization’s own domain, set up the DNS records shown by Audienceful and wait for SPF and DKIM verification. Authentication is an operational setup step, not a promise of inbox placement.
Audienceful’s acceptable-use policy rules out cold outreach and scraped or purchased third-party lists. Confirm the permission trail and unsubscribe route for each audience before importing contacts or scheduling a campaign.

Pricing and getting started
Free is currently listed for up to 1,000 contacts with one automated flow, a monthly sending allowance and shared Audienceful sending domain. The page sections conflict on the exact free collaborator count, so confirm the seat entitlement in the current signup or support reply.
At the vendor’s displayed 3,000-contact selection with yearly billing, Essentials is shown at $29 per month equivalent. It lists three users, three automated flows and a custom domain; verify currency, annual total and tax in the current checkout.
At that same contact selection and yearly billing, Growth is shown at $56 per month equivalent with unlimited users and automations, multiple domains and advanced analytics. Higher contact tiers, AI usage and add-ons can change the bill.
Paid tiers use total stored contacts for the contact band even when sends go only to active contacts. A tier may auto-upgrade when the list grows; plan for imported inactive records and a contact-cleanup policy before committing.
Enterprise is sales-led for support, SLA, regional data and white-label requirements. Ask for the specific terms and do not assume an Enterprise feature is included in a standard tier.
Look a little closer
Before you choose
Pilot with fictional subscribers: submit a form, check double opt-in, create a segment, draft an email, inspect its audience exclusions, send only to a controlled test address and review the resulting report.
For topic-specific newsletters, test a preference change and unsubscribe path before launch. Publication consent and general audience filters serve different purposes; make sure both match what subscribers agreed to receive.
Before moving a sizeable list, count every stored contact, confirm the billing band and monthly sending allowance, and verify domain DNS ownership. Separately check collaborator, automation and AI rights because the pricing page and Help copy may differ.
Campaign outcomes depend on permission, list quality, sender reputation and message content. Audienceful provides authentication and reports, but the buyer should monitor bounces and complaints and avoid claiming that a send will reach every inbox.
