Who it is for

It is most relevant to teams whose product guidance is spread across files, a code repository and support answers, and where several people need to contribute. Pilot one product area or internal team Space before moving an entire documentation library.

The captured vendor material focuses on documentation and knowledge portals, including technical content. If the main requirement is ticket routing or a broad intranet, evaluate those workflows separately rather than assuming this documentation platform covers them.

The work it supports

Core capabilities

Spaces group documents around a team, project or hosted documentation area. Each Space has a document tree, and Personal Docs differs from organization Spaces in visibility. Sketch the audience and folder structure before importing a large library.

The editor supports Markdown shortcuts and content blocks. Markdown or Word files can be imported into a Space, and the guide also describes OpenAPI/Swagger and Postman imports for API material. Test one complex source document for formatting changes before a larger migration.

Archbee can sync a GitHub repository to a Space, allowing code-based content to feed a published portal. Test the exact repository and publishing path during evaluation, particularly if documentation is maintained alongside source code.

For approval-sensitive Spaces, an administrator can enable Draft & Reviews mode. Reviewers can inspect and merge or discard a draft, and publishing exposes the Main version rather than an unmerged draft. The pricing page places the review system in Scaling, so verify plan scope.

Role-based Space access can be assigned to team members, individuals and groups. The docs-site guide describes password and guest-account access; a public Space also has a search-engine indexing setting. Check access from outside the author group before publication.

Publishing generates the documentation site at its configured domain and creates cleaner public URLs. Dynamic document links can keep pointing to a document after its title or position changes. Publish a sample change and check navigation on the actual domain.

Individual documents can be exported as Markdown or PDF, a Space can be exported as Markdown, and admins have a route to download organization content. Try a representative export with links and attachments before replacing an existing knowledge system.

Pricing and getting started

Archbee currently advertises Growing starting at $80 per month, Scaling starting at $350 per month, and Enterprise at custom pricing. The page offers annual and monthly billing selectors plus a calculator; treat the starting display as an indicative amount and request a dated quote with currency, billing interval, member count and add-ons.

Growing lists public/private portals, custom domain, password protection and GitHub integration. Scaling adds review, reusable content, versioning/localization and advanced access controls. Confirm each needed feature and reader/member allowance in the actual plan.

A 14-day trial without a credit card is advertised. Use it to test an author-to-reader cycle, including imports, roles and publication, then confirm which tested capabilities are included in the purchased plan.

Look a little closer

Before you choose

A practical evaluation uses one non-sensitive knowledge Space: import a complex document, assign author/reviewer/reader access, publish under a test domain, and check the result on desktop and phone. Record formatting, search and access gaps before expanding the rollout.

Before a migration, export a representative document tree and verify files, links and attachments in the output. The captured export guide establishes available paths but does not prove a lossless round trip for every content type.
